Connecting to the earth
The EARTHING® Universal Foot Band connects to the earth using the supplied coil cord (5m).
You connect the coil cord to the earth, either with an earthing adapter in the grounded socket or with a ground rod that you insert into the earth outside.

The earthing adapter is a specially designed plastic plug with two metal earth strips, which only makes contact with the earth and not with the power supply in an grounded socket.
The earthing adapter can be used to connect three earth products. With a splitter, an infinite number of products can be connected to the earth.

The ground rod has a 15-metre-long external cable. This external cable can be fed through a window or door and plugged into a socket outside in the garden. Most window and door frames have some space; the external cable can withstand a slight bend when the window or door is closed.
